Experienced Technician with 1 plus years’ experience providing computer support.
Duties
- Configure and maintain Windows Servers
- Configure and maintain network switches, routers, and access points
- Configure and monitor data backups
- Maintain security with antivirus, group policies, and software patches
- Manage user accounts and related Active Directory security
- Support end user hardware and software
- Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets
- Remotely assist clients with support needs
- Document changes in accordance with policies
- Assist in the management and upkeep of client network systems
- Document all work performed in ticketing system
Skills/Experience
- Basic Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 experience
- Basic Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 experience
- Basic VMware vSphere experience
- General Network experience
- Wired, Wireless, Router, and Firewall experience
- VoIP experience a plus
- High School Diploma required
- Associate Degree plus preferred
- Microsoft and other industry certifications preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and people skills
