Experienced Technician with 1 plus years’ experience providing computer support.

Duties

  • Configure and maintain Windows Servers
  • Configure and maintain network switches, routers, and access points
  • Configure and monitor data backups
  • Maintain security with antivirus, group policies, and software patches
  • Manage user accounts and related Active Directory security
  • Support end user hardware and software
  • Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly through service tickets
  • Remotely assist clients with support needs
  • Document changes in accordance with policies
  • Assist in the management and upkeep of client network systems
  • Document all work performed in ticketing system

Skills/Experience

  • Basic Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 experience
  • Basic Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 experience
  • Basic VMware vSphere experience
  • General Network experience
  • Wired, Wireless, Router, and Firewall experience
  • VoIP experience a plus
  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate Degree plus preferred
  • Microsoft and other industry certifications preferred
  • Excellent oral, written, and people skills
